Disc golf in Grimes: a free, one-of-a-kind course.

Grimes has a genuinely unusual little gem for the frisbee crowd, and it is free. Here is the rundown on Glenstone.

The short version

Glenstone MultiGolf Park in Grimes has a free 18-hole course. The twist: it is a MultiGolf course you can play three ways, with a disc, with a club and wiffle ball, or as foot golf with a soccer ball.

The course

Glenstone MultiGolf Park

Built in 2023, Glenstone is billed as the first 18-hole MultiGolf course in the country. As disc golf it plays as an easy, walkable round of about a mile and an hour, good for beginners and families, and it is free to play. Bring your own discs.
