For a casual night, the SE Main Street bars in Grimes sometimes host local acts. For a real concert, Vibrant Music Hall in neighboring Waukee is the metro's newer large venue, a short drive away.

Vibrant Music Hall in Waukee is the closest large concert venue, hosting national touring acts. It is an easy drive from Grimes and the best bet when you want a proper show.
